Presentations have a lot of different slides with information.  They are visual, but also require a lot of written content.  Presentations are great for orientations, training, and programs to accompany the lecture.  They are more interesting than a lecture and will remind you of key points that must be mentioned.

Presentations are more of a summary than full written work.  Therefore you do not want to overload each slide.  The less words the better. But it should still be written in proper English.  Before deciding how to write your presentation you need to decide on the main purpose; is it selling a product or service or teaching about a topic.  Are you including research, graphs, or charts?  Make sure it is well designed and easy to read.  Most text should be typed in size 30.

After you complete the presentation it can be posted online so people can reference it in the future.  Presentations can be posted on YouTube, Slideshare, or your own website.  Having presentations posted can show a level of knowledge and expertise in your industry.
